We are starting our journey on December 3, 2006 on our two-wheeled iron horses, cameras slung around our necks, all our worldly possessions including basic camping gear packed in our motorcycle panniers and backpacks.
We travel west from Bangalore towards the port city of Mangalore and then head north along the coast to Goa, Pune, Mumbai and then travel inland through the Hindi heart land states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana and Punjap before entering Pakistan, the first foreign country we are riding into. From Pakistan we re-enter India and head east towards Nepal, Bhutan and south-east into Myanmar and Thailand and retrace our path to India, Bangladesh and after returning to India we will start our sojourn towards south via Orissa, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Here we again go out of Indian soil to Sri Lanka by air and after a short riding stint in the island nation we return back to Chennai and ride further south to Cape Comorin (Kanyakumari). From the southern tip of India we will travel on the west coast again upto Kozhikode before turning east to reach home via Mysore.

Since we will be travelling on motorcycles, we are sure that it will be easier to talk to and relate with local people and mingle with them with ease.
